School Closures / Delays
Parents,
In the Event that STAR Academy will be closed or delayed due to bad weather, STAR Academy will follow District 11.
If D-11 schools are noted as being closed, then STAR Academy will also be closed. On the few occasions that STAR Academy has school and D-11 does not, please refer to the following TV stations and websites and look for information pertaining to STAR Academy.

If there is a 2 hour delay classes will begin at 9:45am for the Airport Campus (K-3rd) and 10:00am for the Adams Campus (4th-8th). When there is a 2 hour delay Breakfast will NOT be served.
Remember :if you see the yellow flag out front that there is a two- hour delay. If you see a red flag outside STAR Academy is closed.
